A user on Xiaomi's Feedback app received interesting information regarding Xiaomi's plans regarding HyperOS. Turns out, the company has officially ended the development of HyperOS 2 and is redirecting all of its resources to HyperOS 3. It looks like Xiaomi is done with HyperOS 2 as all phones entitled to the OS update received it, so it's time to focus solely on bringing HyperOS 3, based on Android 16, on time. Additionally, a member from the developer team clarified that users should not expect any more HyperOS 2 improvement updates. Instead, the company will focus on addressing...

Huawei launched the Mate XT, the first tri-fold smartphone in the world, last September, and we're now only a few weeks away from its one-year anniversary. To mark that occasion, Huawei is rumored to launch a new and improved tri-fold smartphone, that we initially assumed would be called Mate XT 2. Today a new rumor from China claims it will be Mate XTs instead, and that is perhaps more fitting considering that it won't be an entirely reworked device. It's said to come with improved performance from a new chipset, improved cameras, and new colorways. And that's it, everything else...

With the Redmi Note 15 series out and about, it's time for Xiaomi to release its ultra-budget models, the Redmi 15, 15C and possibly the 15R, if we go by last year's Redmi 14 lineup. However, by the looks of it, the standard Redmi 15 won't miss the party this time around (there was no vanilla Redmi 14) as we already have a good idea of what the phone might bring to the table. Shortly after this rather revealing leak, a tipster on X shared some images of what appear to be official renders of the Redmi 15. We've got a frontal image showing maybe thinner bezels than before, compared to...

Apple is rumored to be finally stepping into the foldable smartphone game next year - we'll be calling its first such device the iPhone Fold but don't take this for granted, we don't really know the name yet. Today in China, the prolific leaker who goes by Digital Chat Station on Weibo has revealed the iPhone Fold's screen sizes. The inner, folding display is allegedly going to be 7.7", while the cover screen will be 5.5". That implies quite a different aspect ratio from what we're used to in the Android world. It's definitely not going to be the biggest book-style foldable around,...

The phone has a screen with 720x1600 resolution, 6GB of RAM, and the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC at the helm. It will rather disappointingly run Android 15 when it launches.
