OnePlus has started teasing two new launches on its website. This includes the new OnePlus 15R smartphone and an unnamed OnePlus smartwatch. The OnePlus 15R is a known quantity, or at least it seems that way based on the teaser image and what we know from previous R-series devices from the company. The 15R looks like the OnePlus Ace 6 that was launched in China last month. Compared to last year's OnePlus 13R, the Ace 6 has a slightly larger display, the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and a massive 7800mAh battery with 120W fast charging. However, it loses the telephoto camera on the...

Checking our calendar, that's the week that starts on December 22 and ends on December 28. Modular phones never took off and cases that add functionality are pretty rare – maybe that is because Apple hasn’t taken a crack at it yet. Leakster Instant Digital says that “Apple will invest heavily in official protective cases in the future”. The goal is to transform the cases into “second touch interfaces”. What does that mean? The leakster is pretty vague about it. Is it a full-blown second touchscreen like LG and Asus have made in the past? It doesn’t sound like it. Will it be a touch pad like the ones we see on iPad keyboard covers? Unclear. LG V50 ThinQ Dual Screen •...

Oppo just unveiled the Reno15 and Reno15 Pro in China, and during the launch event for those two, the company also teased the Reno15c. This will be the cheapest option of the bunch, and will arrive in December. Unfortunately, the company hasn't shared any specs for the 15c, only showed the slide you can see below. The design is clearly very similar to that of the other two members of the family, unsurprisingly. As it will be the cheapest of the three, expect the 15c to also be the lowest-end. We'll let you know when we find out more about it. Source (in Chinese)
