Being a good content writer requires meticulous research, creativity, and hours spent on perfecting your copy. But what if it could be done quicker and with less effort? Enter AI writing platforms. With platforms like Writesonic, users are able to create copy, long-form text, landing pages, etc., in mere seconds.

Want to try Writesonic AI? Check out the website here

Writesonic is a content writing platform dubbed an AI writing assistant whose purpose is creating engaging content in seconds. The San This Francisco-based AI platform was founded in 2020 by Samanyou Garg. At the time of writing, the platform offered dozens of use cases, and in this review, we will look at all of its features, pricing, security, as well as other aspects to help you decide if it's worth your time.

Plans and pricing

Essentially, there are three pricing plans for Writesonic, “Free trial,” “Long-form,” and “Custom Plan.” A free trial is a great option if you’re looking to test out the capabilities of the tool, which allows one user to create up to 10,000 words. It offers over 25 languages, over 100 AI templates, and the ability to create landing pages, write articles, and even have it edit Google documents. In our experience, the free option could be a great bet to try before you buy, which we highly recommend.

However, for business users, the Long-form that starts at $19 per month (if choosing monthly billing), which offers 75,000 words for one user, could be a good starting point. It covers everything from the free plan and adds much more, such as integration with SEO tools, bulk editing, and processing, complete article rewrites, and much more.

For large teams, there is the Custom Plan that comes with an unlimited number of words and users, expanded support, an account manager, invoicing options, training sessions, and much more. However, be prepared to pay for this plan, as additional users and features can rack up the bill pretty quickly.

Features

At the moment, Writesonic offers payment methods through Stripe, with PayPal coming soon. An  additional payment option is by using international credit or debit cards, making the payment options limited at the moment.

But that doesn’t detract from the other features of the AI platform, which covers content in over 25 languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Chinese, etc. Users can also use the tone of voice, ranging from “Excited” all the way to “Creative,” which gives the content a specific twist, allowing users to tailor their content. Note the tone of voice could benefit from more details, as some content that comes in a particular voice needs a lot of human input to be legible.

When it comes to writing website copy, Writesonic can create landing pages, SEO meta descriptions, and feature to benefit headers and headers. Furthermore, it has the option to create social media ads (Facebook, Linkedin) as well as Google ads. For content creators, the offer includes blog writing, expanding on points, and text analysis for readability, with the option to rephrase the content.

There are also options for e-commerce copy and popular copywriting formulas such as “AIDA” and “Pain-Agitate-Solution” formulas.

All in all, the content that the AI offers, will require a lot of editing from the user, so if you’re looking for a completely hands-off approach, you won’t find it here.

Interface and in use

To help beginners get to grips with the platform quickly, the interface uses modern design features. It is very intuitive, and the available templates make navigation and content creation a breeze. Moreover, the platform basically holds your hand throughout the entire process, and once the initial project is setup, it becomes as simple as picking a template and adding details that your specific project requires. All of the heavy lifting is done by the platform itself.

Support

The help center with guides and tutorials will be your first option when it comes to support on working with the platform’s tools. There is also an active Facebook community where articles and individual issues are shared. Despite a “slowish” e-mail response (taking up to 24h), the support offered by Writesonics is more than adequate. For more self-reliant users, the documentation that the company provides is detailed enough to set up projects and troubleshoot some of the issues that you may encounter.

Security

Writesonic has a detailed privacy policy for its platform. Other than that, there are no specific security features to mention as the platform is a hosted web app, with the users ensuring simply that their connection is secure.

Test

We’ve given the paragraph writing capabilities of the platform a quick test to see how it handles a simple topic. The goal was to cover “Artificial intelligence helps writers be more succinct” in a single paragraph using a professional tone. The results were solid, yet they do require editing if you want to add a personal touch and specific details not just generic phrases about AI and writing.

For users looking to fully automate their writing, with zero input from their side, will probably have to look elsewhere.

The competition

Despite numerous AI content writing platforms coming out almost daily, the closest competitor to Writesonic could be Snazzy AI. This platform also offers numerous templates and the ability to enhance output. Similar to Writesonic, Snazzy is also a pricy product that doesn’t allow any type of content posting automation. You can read more details on Snazzy here.

When it comes to marketing content and one-pagers, the closest competitor is Populr. It allows users to create marketing content regardless of their knowledge level. The ability to create a quick landing page, launch a campaign, and track its success makes it stand out in the AI text generator crowd.

Final verdict

Writesonic is a powerful yet expensive AI platform that serves as a writing assistant. Its ease of use should ensure a wide user base, with a wide range of templates suitable to almost any content creation scenario.

The platform could benefit from more third-party extensions and integrations as well as a tighter “tone of voice” writing style. However, as more users are onboarded, there is a possibility for the platform to create better content.

In the end, the technology behind the platform is nothing short of impressive. Users that don’t have a large team or a budget for one could benefit from an AI writing assistant to create specialized content for all aspects of their blog or business.

Qualifacts InSync EHR Review: Pros & Cons, Features, Ratings, Pricing and more
9:58 am |

Author: admin | Category: Computers Gadgets | Comments: Off

Qualifacts, based in Nashville, Tennessee indicates that they have over 20 years of experience, and are one of the largest EHR software companies in the market. This company has a focus on interoperability between software solutions, increasing efficiency, and to maximize reimbursement. In addition to the Insync EHR, they also have Carelogic which is for behavioral health for mid and large size facilities, and Credible, an acquired behavioral health solution that is now under the Qualifacts umbrella.

The InSync platform can support a number of specialty areas. Rather than focusing on the entire market, the emphasis is on behavioral health, substance abuse disorders, and physical, occupational, and speech rehabilitative therapy. It has been designed for small and mid sized practices and agencies.

InSync EHR: Features

The InSync EHR offers a comprehensive solution, and its focus on behavioral health makes it an attractive choice for psychiatric, psychological, and other practices that work in this area. It is cloud based, so the hosting gets done by InSync, and the practice does not need to concern itself with running a server. We like the nice touch, for example, that can adapt to incorporate custom patient forms to have the EHR work with existing patient workflows, and not require the practice to remake itself to go paperless.

Training is also a strong point, which can be useful for setting up a new system to ease the transition, and also for ongoing onboarding of new staff. InSync has options for both remote and also onsite training, so staff are fully up to speed.

As would be expected, e-prescribing is also integrated so providers can transmit prescriptions securely to a patient’s pharmacy. We also like that it works well with the medication history of the patient in the EHR, which can be particularly important with patients with behavioral issues who can be prone to “Doctor shopping.” There is also support for telehealth, with patients able to schedule through the patient portal (see below), and providers able to use telehealth for anything from the occasional visit, to a full time telepsychiatry practice.

Patient Portal

InSync does have a fully integrated patient portal designed to augment the front desk, and to stop relying on paper intake forms. Rather, patients can access the content from either the convenience of a web browser while out of the office, or via a tablet when in the office at the check-in kiosk. Patients get to make appointment requests, and even set up remote telehealth appointments. Furthermore, to support a paperless office, patients can make payments, fill out forms, and even complete pre visit assessments.

Mobile

While once a luxury, it has become a necessity with busy clinicians now needing a mobile app version of their EHR. It proves invaluable to taking call, especially when cross covering associates to have chart records instantly available from anywhere.

Unfortunately, inSync does not share this vision, as it does not offer any apps, neither for the Android, or the iOS platform. In this day and age, this becomes a tough sell for clinicians as many competing solutions offer the convenience of mobile app access to their EMR.

InSync EHR: Support

InSync has multiple support options. Starting with the direct options, under the support tab on the top, we found a toll free phone number, a direct email, and a support portal. The last option unfortunately did not have an option to attach a file, as a marked up screen shot is often needed to detail the issue. We did not find an option to chat for support, but only for scheduling a demo appointment. We also appreciate that the hours of operation are indicated at 7:30 AM to 7 PM on weekdays, and also on the weekends at 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no indication if they are closed on any holidays.

While the direct support options are solid, the self help area falls short. This is because there is a dearth of any content, so no blog, no articles, no eBooks, no whitepapers and no helpful webinars or videos. This is too bad as this type of content can often provide guidance, especially to novice users of a platform, and not require a direct support exchange to get an answer to a simple query.

InSync EHR: Pricing

Too many of these EHR’s have opaque pricing; however, while some are not transparent, Insync looks like they are run by Illuminati. This is because we cannot find any pricing info either on the main website, or by running multiple searches.

What we did glean is that Insync is available with a monthly subscription, as we found a payment module that could process a credit card. Beyond that, we could not find what the tiers are, how they are priced, and what the startup fee is, although we found a suggestion of one somewhere. Furthermore, there is no indication of a free trial or free tier.

InSync EHR: Final verdict

The InSync EHR is a dichotomy as its good points get offset by the negatives. On the pro side, we can make an argument for it given the direct support options, the focus on behavioral health, the well developed patient portal, and the option for custom patient forms. However, for some practices, that will not be good enough, with the lack of smartphone apps for remote access of patient information, the extremely opaque pricing and no free tier nor even a trial, and that we did not find any self help support options, like articles or webinars.

Overall, while existing users may be satisfied with this offering, especially for a practice that only deals with behavioral health, new users should weigh their options carefully, particularly those that can be priced out more easily.

AMS Ultra Charts Review: Pros & Cons, Features, Ratings, Pricing and more
8:50 am |

Author: admin | Category: Computers Gadgets | Comments: Off

AMS Ultra Charts software comes to us from American Medical Software, which has over 35 years of experience in the medical software segment, and is based in Edwardsville, Illinois. It focuses on dependable software, affordable pricing, and technical support that is 100% based. In addition to this EMR software, it also offers solutions for medical billing, scheduling, and portal.

AMS Ultra Charts: Features

AMS Ultra Charts is designed to keep all of a practice’s patient information organized, and in a single location. While it can be used alone as a pure EMR, it is really designed to be used with the other software modules, such as for billing or the patient portal.

One feature of Ultra Charts is to improve the documentation, with a focus on avoiding losing revenue due to incorrect coding, also known as downcoding. Ultra Charts deals with this via the E&M Coding Assistant, that vigilantly monitors for this, and can ensure that the documentation and billing is accurate so that the clinician bills fully for the services provided. There is also a function for medication history and tracking.

There are also plenty of the other features that leverage the power of computers and automation, such as referral letters, and automatic task reminders. There are also specialty specific items, including growth charts that will be useful to pediatric practices for younger patients. Vaccine and immunization schedules can also be uploaded and tracked. There is support for patient information to be provided via hyperlink to enhance education for specific diseases.

There are also paperless office functions as well. For example, faxing is also included, with an electronic incoming fax queue. Furthermore, images and documents, such as insurance cards can also be scanned, and imported as well.

Patient Portal

The AMS Ultra Charts technically does have a patient portal, well, sort of. To be technical, it is not included, and rather requires an additional software solution, enter AMS Ultra Portal. However, we are frustrated that we have no pricing on the additional cost of the patient portal making it hard to judge the value of this offering.

This Ultra Portal offers the function of allowing patients to complete forms, such as intake forms for a consult- in a secure environment. Also, they can request prescription refills, and make appointments. Finally, this portal can serve as a secure messaging platform when a patient needs to directly contact their provider, or practice staff, and it can also work to get in touch with a patient as well.

Mobile

A pretty significant shortcoming is the lack of a mobile app for this Ultra Charts software. We went through the AMS website, including their knowledge center, and also both the Apple and Google app stores, but did not find anything.

This is a miss, as most of the competition has available apps, not only for a mobile clinician, but also for front office check in via an iPad to digitize patient demographics and forms right from the start. Furthermore, it is a tough sell to clinicians to not have a mobile app, as it has become a ‘Must have’ for taking call when the office is closed to have access to all the records easily via the smartphone that the doctor always has with them.

AMS Ultra Charts: Support

We went through the support options, and came up with a phone number, with 100% US based support, but did not find the hours or days of operation, other than the technical updates going out 24/7. We also found some venerable support options of a fax, and a snail mail address, but would have preferred to see some more modern options, such as a support portal, an email address, or a chat box, none of which we found.

Self help is often where an EHR makes up for this, but this fell short. We did find a blog, some testimonial videos, and also there is a periodic eNewsletter as well. We did not find a searchable knowledge bank of articles, nor product videos, white papers and ebooks that we would have liked to see.

AMS Ultra Charts: Pricing

In what is way too common in this area, the pricing for this product is opaque. Rather, a phone number is provided to sales for the custom quote. While each deployment needs to be specialized, for a company that wants to be affordable we would appreciate some suggestion of pricing for a common deployment, such as a solo practitioner, with the idea of the cost of a second practitioner to the group. However, all AMS indicates is that it costs $7 to create a new paper chart, and $5 to pull a chart, and that a practice can save money paperless. Googling around only netted us that the software is sold as a subscription, so without a dollar amount, it is hard to quantify the potential savings.

Finally, we did not find any suggestion that there is a free tier, or free trial.

AMS Ultra Charts: Final verdict

This EMR, AMS Ultra Charts is one that is hard to like. We can appreciate the available patient portal, the direct phone support and the integrated coding assistance. However, in some other areas, we are less impressed with the opaque pricing, the lack of a free trial, that there are no smartphone apps, and that the patient portal requires an additional software package to implement. While some providers may find Ultra Charts adequate for their needs. Our concern is that growing practices can potentially outgrow it pretty quickly given these limitations.
