HMD Global has been launching smartphones under the Nokia brand for the past six years. The independent Finnish company plans to expand its portfolio and will introduce phones with its own HMD brand. HMD Global just announced its decision to manufacture 5G Nokia smartphones in Europe, making it the first major smartphone maker to do so.
