The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 have undergone testing for FCC certification and that offers a peek at what’s coming. The phones were tested for compliance with 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and wireless power regulations, the Fold also has UWB, apparently. However, neither phone was tested for Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, only Wi-Fi 6 (ax, including the 6GHz band). The 2023 models arrived relatively early for Wi-Fi 7 support, so the omission was understandable, not so much for the 2024 models. Here’s something interesting, the lab tested the Galaxy Z Fold6 in closed, half opened...

The successor to the Tecno Phantom V Flip has appeared on FCC and the schematics found inside the documents reveal a change that we think will be received quite well. They also detail an improved battery. Here is a closer look alongside the original model for comparison: Phantom V2 Flip (FCC) • Phantom V Flip Yes, it looks like the Tecno Phantom V2 Flip will use a rectangular display. That may look a bit more boring than the circular display of its predecessor, but it is noticeably more practical, since it places fewer restrictions on the app and widgets that can be displayed on...

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Ring have been certified by the FCC. This process has allowed us to know their battery capacities. The Flip6 will have two cells of course, one on each of its sides, with a total combined capacity of 3,790 mAh. This will be marketed as 3,800, 3,850, or even 3,900 mAh typical capacity. Any of those numbers will represent an improvement from the Flip5's 3,700 mAh capacity, but it's definitely not going to be a huge bump. Through the UL Demko certification we know that the battery will charge at 25W maximum. The Flip6 was also spotted on...

Samsung is expected to launch at least three versions of the Galaxy Watch7 at its next Unpacked event in July - the vanilla, the Classic, and the Pro. A cheaper Galaxy Watch FE may join it too, and although it may not be called that, we'll use that name for now, as it's easy to follow. A bunch of Samsung smartwatches have been listed by the FCC, with model numbers SM-L300, SM-L305, SM-L310, SM-L315, and SM-R861. L300 and L310 could be the Wi-Fi-only versions of the two sizes for the vanilla Watch7, with L305 and L315 being their respective LTE-capable iterations. That leaves the...

This has revealed the fact that the Poco F6 Pro will sport a 5,000 mAh battery (most likely typical advertised capacity from the 4,880 mAh rated capacity that was certified). That phone launched for the Chinese market back in...
