We have Poco's other new tablet in for an unboxing - the Poco Pad M1. It's a rebadged Redmi Pad 2 Pro, which we reviewed last month, and comes with the same accessories in the box. You get a USB-A to USB-C cable, a 33W charger, and the tablet itself. Xiaomi sells the Poco Pad M1 for $329, but you can get it at an Early Bird discounted price of $279. The Poco Pad M1 comes in this uncharacteristic (of Poco) blue color, and it's drop-dead gorgeous. It's a subtle shade of blue that comes alive under direct light. The tablet's spec sheet reads a 12.1-inch 1600x2560px 120Hz IPS LCD...

Yesterday, Huawei announced its Mate 80 series devices alongside the Mate X7 foldable, and all five devices are equipped with its new Kirin 9030 series chipsets. We say chipsets because there are two versions of the SoC – a vanilla Kirin 9030 found on the Mate 80 and some trims of the Mate 80 Pro, while the Pro version is reserved for the Mate 80 Pro (16/512GB), Mate 80 Pro Max, Mate 80 RS Ultimate and the Mate X7. While Huawei did not share complete specs for its new chips, users on Weibo have already shared screenshots of the new Mate80 models, which detail some of the hardware...

We recently had the pleasure of handling Honor's Magic8 Pro and while in China, we were also given the Magic8 Lite for a quick hands-on. Because this is still an unofficial phone, we can only share a few photos of phone and the contents of its retail package. Like most of its peers, the Honor Magic8 Lite ships with nothing more than a USB cable. It's a USB-A to USB-C cable, just like the one that came with this phone's predecessor. That means the new phone may also support 66W charging. There's a clear visual heritage here as well. The new Lite looks like the old one with a...

Black Friday deals spotlight: the Google Pixel 10 series is up to $300 off

While iPhones and Galaxys are the most popular options, there are alternatives. Google’s Pixel series is entering a new era with a new chipset foundry and more capable camera hardware. The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is the top dog, unless you count the pricey Fold model (which we featured in a previous post). It has a 6.8” LTPO 1344p+ display and a 5,200mAh battery. Unfortunately, the battery doesn’t last as long as it should – it only achieved a 12:29h Active Use score. The chief culprit for that is probably the underperforming Tensor G5. The Pixel UI feels smooth and the chip is...

No, the OnePlus 15 still isn’t available in the US and the OnePlus site hasn’t been updated with info on when it is coming. But the OnePlus 13 might be the better phone, anyway. It’s certainly cheaper. You can pick up the base 12/256GB unit for $700 and the upgrade to 16/512GB is $100 more. Even though it is a previous gen chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is still one of the fastest around and the 6.82” 1440p+ LTPO OLED is great. The phone is equipped with three 50MP cameras on the back, including a main with a 1/1.43” sensor and a 3x/73mm periscope. This part is arguably better than the...

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE vs. Galaxy S25 Plus

With this year's Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, Samsung brings the model much closer to the S25 Series. Size- and design-wise, it's identical to the Galaxy S25+, while it shares the full-fledged Exynos 2400 SoC with last year's Galaxy S24+. Compared to the S25+, the Galaxy S25 FE is around 30% cheaper in Europe and almost 50% cheaper in the US (when you account for storage and you shop from third-party retailers). Based on pricing and the specs sheet alone, the Galaxy S25 FE is the go-to option between the two if you are on a budget, and if that's the case, well, it's already settled. But if...
