Spotify now lets you display what you're listening to inside Messages in real time. This is called Listening activity and it's opt-in, so it's turned off by default. If you're not actively listening, your most recent song will be shown instead. This is visible only to friends and family you've already connected with inside Messages on Spotify. You can see others' activity even if you haven't turned your own listening activity on, provided they have opted in. To turn this on, go to the Privacy and social settings inside the Spotify app. Once enabled, activity appears in...

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold hands-on

Author: admin | Category: Mobile phones news | Comments: Off

The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is very exclusive and will likely remain like that - it's on sale in South Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, and the UAE, and is expected to arrive Stateside soon. But we managed to spend some time with one at this year's CES and we have some early thoughts to share. Compared to modern phones, especially recent ones, it's quite the brick when folded. There's no getting around that - having two folding sides and one middle one means the Galaxy Z TriFold will be a fat gadget when fully closed. However, it's not unmanageably thick, and people who'll buy...

WhatsApp is 'leveling up' your group chats today with three new features. With Member tags, you can give yourself a tag to tell the group what your role is. This can be different for each group you're in. Next up, text stickers. Any word can now be turned into a sticker by simply typing your text into Sticker Search. Newly created stickers can also be added directly to your sticker packs instead of having to send them in a chat first. Finally, event reminders are rather self-explanatory. When you create and send an event in a group chat, you can set custom early reminders for those...

A new Samsung patent gives us our first look at a flip-style foldable, which folds both inward and outward. The patent was spotted on the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) database and is accompanied by sketches for the flip-style device with a 360-degree hinge. Unlike mainstream flip-style folds, the device in the patent listing does not have a dedicated cover screen. The sketches show that the folding screen can fold outward, wrapping around the back of the device, but it can also fold inward. This approach would require a complex hinge mechanism that would support...

The Redmi Turbo 5 series contains the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, the brand has officially announced earlier this month. The Max suffix is new to this line, which previously only had vanilla and Pro models. Now the Redmi Turbo 5 Max has allegedly been pictured in the renders you can see below, which you should take with a hefty dose of salt since they look like they're AI-generated and we can't vouch for the source. Purported Redmi Turbo 5 Max renders If this design is accurate, it looks like Redmi is going for a rather different look compared to the Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro. The...
