Samsung recently seeded the One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S23 series and a bunch of Galaxy A series phones. Now, the company has started rolling out the beta update for the older Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. The update is currently rolling out for the fifth generation Samsung foldables in South Korea as the One UI 8 Beta program has gone live. Interested users can register for the beta program by downloading the Samsung Members app. Apart from new features, the beta update also includes the latest September Android security patch, according to screenshots shared...
Samsung is going to be launching three new tablets in the coming months, and all three of them have now been certified by Safety Korea, an obviously necessary step on their path to becoming official. The certification process has revealed one live image for each tablet, showing the front, but as usual with certification photos, these aren't the highest quality by any stretch of the imagination. The Galaxy Tab S11 has similar dimensions to the Tab S9 and Tab S10 FE, and comes with its selfie camera embedded in the screen bezel. Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 The Tab S11 Ultra, on the...
The new Galaxy Z series from Samsung is a hit. Just as analysts predicted, it set a new record for pre-orders of foldable devices in South Korea. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 (and presumably the Z Flip7 FE) saw 1.04 million pre-orders in the week spanning July 15 to 21. That topped the previous record set by the Z 5 generation of 1.02 million pre-orders. More importantly, it beats last year’s Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 pre-orders by a solid 14% (those managed 910,000 pre-orders). The Galaxy Z Fold7 saw more pre-orders than the Z Flip7 The report by ETNews...
Analysts are keeping a close eye on pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 in South Korea and they are forecasting record-breaking numbers. Looking back at the last couple of generations, the Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 set the record with over 1 million pre-orders (1.02 million, specifically) back in 2023. The Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 from last year failed to reach that benchmark. Pre-order reservations on Samsung.com reached 160,000 in the 14 days since reservations opened on June 24. This was before the official reveal on July 9, but is used by analysts as a starting point to...
Samsung released the Galaxy S25 in the final days of January and immediately opened global pre-orders. The home market is key for the Korean company, and we just learned it saw yet another record-breaking pre-order session. News sources from Seoul revealed there were 1.3 million orders for the Galaxy S25 series, about 10% more than last year's Galaxy S flagships. The series however is just short of the "over 1.3 million" all-time highest achievement, set by the Galaxy Note10 duo back in August 2019. The report stated that 52% of all orders (676,000) were for the Galaxy S25 Ultra....

We've already heard a few times that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra would have a titanium frame, thus following the lead of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. And today yet another rumor, this time one originating in Samsung's home country of South Korea, confirms this fact. According to unnamed sources, the S24 Ultra will be the first Samsung smartphone to have a titanium outer frame. Depending on the reception for this feature, the company may then decide to expand it to other models. We've heard something similar before, but then, in early October, one rumor refuted...
