A few days ago a rumor from China claimed Xiaomi is going to unveil the 17 Ultra in December. That would be around two months earlier than its predecessor, which only arrived in February. Today a new rumor from a tipster over on X claims to narrow down the 17 Ultra's launch timeline even further, pegging it to the fourth week of December. Checking our calendar, that's the week that starts on December 22 and ends on December 28. Xiaomi 15 Ultra We've seen a lot of launches by Chinese brands happening earlier this year than in 2024, including from Xiaomi with the 17, 17 Pro, and 17...
Modular phones never took off and cases that add functionality are pretty rare – maybe that is because Apple hasn’t taken a crack at it yet. Leakster Instant Digital says that “Apple will invest heavily in official protective cases in the future”. The goal is to transform the cases into “second touch interfaces”. What does that mean? The leakster is pretty vague about it. Is it a full-blown second touchscreen like LG and Asus have made in the past? It doesn’t sound like it. Will it be a touch pad like the ones we see on iPad keyboard covers? Unclear. LG V50 ThinQ Dual Screen •...

Oppo just unveiled the Reno15 and Reno15 Pro in China, and during the launch event for those two, the company also teased the Reno15c. This will be the cheapest option of the bunch, and will arrive in December. Unfortunately, the company hasn't shared any specs for the 15c, only showed the slide you can see below. The design is clearly very similar to that of the other two members of the family, unsurprisingly. As it will be the cheapest of the three, expect the 15c to also be the lowest-end. We'll let you know when we find out more about it. Source (in Chinese)
