Say hello to the OnePlus Pad 2 - the global variant of what Chinese customers call the OnePlus Pad Pro. The back of the tablet comes with a matte finish that is very nice to look at and especially to touch. In Europe the slate ships with a USB-C to USB-A cable and nothing more. It supports 67W charging but you'd need to supply your own charger. Opening the box If you want to unlock the full potential of the OnePlus Pad 2 for productivity, you can buy the $150 Smart Keyboard, which adds a full set of keys and a touchpad, that is twice as big as the OnePlus Pad's keyboard....

nubia Red Magic 9S Pro in for review

The nubia Red Magic 9S Pro just went global and we already have one in our midst, so let's do an unboxing. This is the nubia Red Magic 9S Pro, the Pro+ is staying a China exclusive, but we think the regular Pro might be the better deal anyway. Sure, you miss out on the 165W charging (which impressively goes from 0% to 100% in just 16 minutes, per nubia), but you get a mightier 6,500mAh battery - around 16% extra juice is no small feat. And the Red Magic 9S Pro still packs impressive 80W wired charging. You get the 80W brick in the box, too, along with a red USB-C to USB-C cable, and a...

Samsung unveiled 10.7Gbps LPDDR5X RAM back in April and promised to start mass production in the second half of this year. The new RAM chips just completed an important step towards that goal and successfully completed verification at the advertised 10.7Gbps speed, the fastest in the industry. This was done in a collaboration between Samsung and MediaTek. The upcoming Dimensity 9400 was hooked up to 16GB of the new LPDDR5X RAM and this was used as a test bench for the new chips. It’s not a simple test, though, the process took three months. MediaTek is mum on details on the new...

OnePlus Watch 2R review

The OnePlus Watch 2R is the latest model in the OnePlus wearable lineup and the cheaper variant of the OnePlus Watch 2. The OnePlus Watch 2 was launched to critical acclaim last year, with many reviewers, including myself, praising the device for its design and build quality, performance, novel dual operating system design, and excellent battery life. The OnePlus Watch 2R chooses not to mess with that winning formula. In fact, it chooses to change very little as this is largely the same watch barring a couple of changes. Are these changes meaningful enough to justify another...

Samsung’s new foldables are still on pre-order (until July 24), so if you waited to see what Amazon Prime Day will bring before hitting the “buy” button, it was a wise choice. We will start with the best foldable deals from Amazon’s shopping holiday, but there are plenty of regular phones too. It goes without saying that you need an active Amazon Prime subscription to get the prices below. The Motorola razr 2023 is half off and is down to just $333. This is mid-range Android money and unheard of for a brand-name foldable. It is from last year, though, which means a tiny line display on the...

OnePlus announced a whole ecosystem of devices today with the Nord 4, and OnePlus Pad 2 getting most of the attention. Those weren’t the only devices announced on stage as we also got the OnePlus Watch 2R and the Buds 3 Pro.
